Market leader with a passion for perfection and environmental protection

State-of-the-art engineering since 1969

For almost 50 years, we have been passionate about developing highly efficient filter technologies protecting our environment as best as possible. Based on our well-founded experience, we develop, manufacture and distribute products preventing the escape of oil mist into the engine compartment and environment almost completely.

Oil mist separation perfected

With our products for power plants, off-highway and maritime applications it is possible to meet tomorrow’s standard already today

Less costs and higher engine reliability

UT99 oil mist separators protect sensitive components from contamination - your system functions more reliably, maintenance cycles are reduced and life cycle costs are lower.

More work safety - also on cruise ships

Oil mist separators reliably prevent lubricating films in the engine environment and thus contribute efficiently to a safe and clean working environment. The particularly high requirements for cleanliness on cruise ships are met. Our certifications by Germanischer Lloyd and RINA prove this.

Increased efficiency

Highly efficient UT99 oil mist filters in combination with closed crankcase ventilation (CCV), especially for gas engines, achieve a permanently increased efficiency. Combined heat and power plants in particular benefit from this technology.

Future-proof Crankcase Ventilation Systems

The demands on crankcase ventilation systems are increasing as the internal combustion engine industry focuses on alternative fuels, higher power densities, and higher oil temperatures. These trends have massive implications for the design of crankcase ventilation systems, which are exposed to higher aerosol concentrations as well as toxic and potentially explosive gases. UT99 addresses these challenges with solutions that are compatible, highly efficient, and customizable. There is a wide product portfolio, including crankcase pressure control by a blower system or an EPR that also provides digital data on the status of the ventilation system. Valuable data is also provided by the UT99 blow-by flow meter, which can be used not only for predictive replacement of filter elements but also for analysis of engine wear.

ICEF Award, ASMA Conference Indianapolis, 2022

At ICEF 2022, the paper "On Blow-By Aerosol Sources in a Single-Cylinder Crankcase Environment" by Niclas Nowak et al. was awarded best paper in the "Powertrain and Emissions Systems" track. A fundamental understanding of the processes associated with crankcase aerosol are an important foundation for the success of UT99. The latest findings are continuously incorporated into the further development of our products.

The turbines of the Glurns, Kastelbell and Laas hydropower plants run with UT99 oil mist separators

UT99 was commissioned by Alperia Vipower and Alperia Greenpower to retrofit oil mist separators on the turbines of the Glurns, Kastelbell and Laas hydropower plants. Further information on these power plants can be found here.

The UT99 oil mist separators "have reliably ensured an oil-free environment in the turbine halls since commissioning in the summer of 2022" (Gerhard Hell, responsible for the Glurns operation, Alperia Greenpower). The working environment is thus safer and the operation overall more environmentally friendly.

UT99 AG donates for Ukraine

The UT99 Team contributes CHF 5’340 to Swiss Red Cross for the most vulnerable and protection seeking in Ukraine.

A donation campaign from UT99 and UT99 Team members has been started to help and support Ukrainian people who suffer the most because of the terrible war.
